My name is Brian Horwitz, and I have lived in Massachusetts since 1999. I currently reside in East Walpole with my family. Before starting Boutique Technology Services, I spent more than 25 years working in Information Technology, including leadership roles at organizations such as The MathWorks, Partners Healthcare (now Mass General Brigham), and Boston Children's Hospital. Technology has always been both my profession and a personal interest. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing guitar, skiing, golfing, cooking, and exploring new technology.
So how did Boutique Technology Services come to be? The answer is actually pretty simple: For years, friends, family members, neighbors, and even coworkers have reached out when technology wasn't cooperating. Sometimes it was a computer problem. Other times it was Wi-Fi issues, malware, a new device, or a home theater setup that just wasn't working the way it should. I found that I genuinely enjoyed helping people solve these problems, and I especially enjoyed helping them understand what was happening along the way.
That experience led me to create Boutique Technology Services. My goal is not just to fix technology issues, but to help people feel comfortable and confident using the technology in their everyday lives. Whether I'm troubleshooting a computer, helping select and set up a new device, improving a home's Wi-Fi coverage, or teaching a technology seminar, I focus on patience, clear communication, and practical solutions. I believe technology should be helpful, not frustrating, and I take pride in providing the kind of personal service and attention that is often difficult to find from larger companies.
When you work with Boutique Technology Services, you're not just hiring someone to fix a problem. You're gaining a trusted technology resource who is invested in helping you get the most out of your devices and technology for years to come.
